The very first step towards buying corgi is the choice between a cardigan and his red brother Pembroke. And of course, the owner must understand whether this breed is right for him.
Differences from Corgi Pembroke:
Pembroke has medium-sized ears, erect, rounded towards the end. Cardigans have more rounded ears. Pembroke color can be either red, black or sable. Cardigans have a more extensive palette of shades of wool. In size, the cardigan is slightly larger and taller. Pembroke is very sociable in any company, on the contrary, cardigans behave very restrained with strangers. The tail of the Pembroke previously stopped, which is why it became less long. Cardigans have a long fox tail.
