Do not believe myths. If you want to get a cat or a dog, do not rush to ring up nurseries, pay money for an elite pet. At a homeless animal shelter, a trusted friend can be borrowed for free.
Most of our shelters are private, not public. In groups on social networks and on their websites, they always upload photos of wards, reports on financial matters, home pictures attached to the lucky good hands. Anyone can learn all about a shelter, come on a guest day, get to know the animals, play with them, and provide all possible assistance to the shelter staff. Too many caring people do just that. But, unfortunately, some of these pets for some reason cause negative associations. It’s time to fix it, dispel the most common myths.
